Chai Mitzvah

A program to enhance Jewish engagement, with learning opportunities for families, teens, and adults.

  • Family Education Program
    Chai Mitzvah Family Education materials are designed for use in a school education setting, by Chavura family groups, or by individual Chai Mitzvah participants with their families.
  • Teens
    Over 1,500 teens have participated in our unique Chai Mitzvah Teen Program, which is full of experiential and text-based learning. The program has four curriculum tracks:
    • Mussar: Explore a Jewish understanding of how to lead a meaningful and ethical life.
    • Mixtape: Focus on the arts.
    • Aseret – The Big Ten: Develop an understanding of the Ten Commandments.
    • Standard Curriculum: focuses on nine topics to spark meaningful discussions. Topics include Rites of Passage, Mindfulness and Conscious Living, Judaism and the Environment, and more.
