Momentum Canada invites you to “Get Into the Spirit,” a virtual night out and fundraiser featuring stand-up comedy, a scotch tasting, mixology workshop, silent auction, and inspiring words from Momentum Educator Adrienne Gold Davis. Registration is required to secure your spot and receive your mixology kit for the evening, delivered to you.

Adrienne Gold Davis

Adrienne was a Canadian television personality specializing in fashion, style, and beauty for almost two decades before becoming a senior lecturer and community liaison at the Village Shul in Toronto, as well as an international Jewish educator. Adrienne has appeared on all major Canadian television networks and has served as the event host for dozens of charities and organizations. Adrienne and her husband live in Toronto and have two sons.


Simon Rakoff

Simon Rakoff has been a comedian since 1978. His act is well crafted and thought-provoking delivered with the smoothness of a veteran and the enthusiasm of a newcomer. He has made audiences laugh across Canada from Newfoundland to Vancouver Island. A top headliner, Simon’s quick mind and engaging personality also make him a popular MC at clubs, corporate and charity events. A favourite at comedy festivals, Simon has performed at Montreal’s Just For Laughs, Halifax Ha!, The Winnipeg Comedy Festival and many others. On television, Simon has appeared on innumerable Canadian shows and had his own special on CBC. He also provided humorous commentary on the local Toronto news. He is also a frequent voice on national radio on shows including The Debaters, Madly Off In All Directions , Definitely Not The Opera and As It Happens. Simon is also a much sought after writer and has added his talent to Canada’s sitcoms, sketch and panel shows.

Dammara Kovnats Hall

Jewish Cocktails was started by Dammara Kovnats Hall, a Jewish Studies Teacher in Manhattan. Originally from Winnipeg, Canada, she worked as a mixologist while attending college in New York City. When living in Israel pursuing a Masters degree in Jewish education, she had the idea to synthesize her love of Judaism and passion for mixology, leading to the creation of Jewish Cocktails. She has now launched an events-based business specializing in Kosher and Jewish-themed cocktails and classes. When she’s not crafting delicious new cocktails, she enjoys riding her motorcycle and hosting friends for Shabbat. Ariel Remer

Ariel Remer is a co-founder of Bellaire & Day Whisky Company, an independent bottler specializing in single casks. He also collects whisky and helps scotch and whisky lovers find rare and unique bottles worldwide. When he isn't bottling whisky, he can be found sipping a l'chaim with his friends and family.
